The classic recipe (9x13 pan)
Ingredients
- 1 cup melted butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips (or white chocolate)
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F; grease pan
- Mix butter + brown sugar
- Add eggs + vanilla
- Stir in flour + baking powder + salt
- Fold in chocolate chips + nuts
- Spread in pan
- Bake 25-30 minutes
- Cool; cut into squares
