    yep you can sell the mobile home you cant sell a rented apartment

    I think so. My space rent is 535 but an apartment would be over 1k.

    Yes, practically every time.

    In Oregon, an OK and cheap 3 bedroom apartment would be about $ 900. That doesn’t include any utilities.

    A comparable mobile home or manufactured home in a park, with space rent at $ 400(that’s a either really good deal, or in this case a OK cheap park, average of $ 350 in mortgage payment lets say, sewer and garbage, you are looking at about the same price without the neighbors on the other side of the wall at 3 am playing video games and making noise. You usually have 3 parking spaces or at least 2, some yard, and some privacy. No one above or below you passing right by your doorway making noise.

    Even with this being about the same price, that’s with the mortgage, and once it’s paid off, you are only paying about $ 650 or so a month for a 3 bedroom 2 bath with yard and parking and potential peace:) Plus the equity in the home than you can sell.

    Difference though is you will need a down payment. And yes there is financing on manufactured homes, but generally the few loan banks that do work with manufactured homes like going through dealers. Not to say they won’t go through private parties, but they may not be as easy.
