    If they ran your credit to provide you the loan, then yes. However, as places like Ace are known for having high interest rates, it would probably be advisable to pay it all off ASAP rather than trying to “let it ride” for credit-building befits.

    That is what the FICO scoring software considers a “lender of last resort” just like Cash Call and payday loans, Household Finance and American General.

    While it may help your credit scores some after a few on time payments are reported (assuming they even do report to the Credit Agencies), having such an account on your credit will hold scores generally lower for years to come.

    “Lenders of Last Resort” have that effect on scores, I am 100% certain.
