Article Score0

Twice I’ve seen people state they got a credit score when either they opened a checking or applied for a credit card.
Anyone know which bank does this?
What’s funny, he said the score was 250 (which is not even in the FICO score range, so he got a fake score. Still curious, what banks are offering these fake scores?

1 Thought on Why would a bank give you a credit score besides getting a mortgage?

Anytime you apply for credit, whether it be a credit card, a car loan/lease, mortgage, etc., the bank/lender will pull your credit report and issue a credit score. Some credit scoring models actually do go as low as 250, though that’s typically the lowest possible score, so it sounds unlikely.
