Out of these two careers which makes more money long-term; a career of a loan officer or a real estate agent. Who makes more money on a continuous basis?

    By base salary loan officer is more rewarding, but if your really good at selling houses, and you sell them in rich neighbourhoods expect to get paid better then loan officer.

    You can make upto $ 15,000 for a $ 500,000 house, imagine how much you’d make if you sold quite a few of these per month.

    I agree with the previous poster. Further, I know someone who started off as areal estate agent and now he owns 50 houses, averaging $ 750.000 each in value.
    They are all rented out and each produces 3 times the monthly mortgage money required to pay it, this person expects to have 100 houses within the next two years, and so on to double it all every 2 years.
