HO7 is a hybrid homeowners policy form that covers both the building, and the contents, on a “risk of direct physical loss” basis.

Compare it to an HO3, the most common type, where the building is “risk of direct physical loss” but the contents are “named perils”.

The same exclusions you’d find on an HO3, would be on an HO7. The main difference, is the “all risk” vs. “named perils” basis for the contents.

An H07 is written specially for Mobile Home Owners. It would be most similar to an HO-3 on a standard home.

Forms for standard homes are HO-1 through HO-5. An HO8 policy limits the amount of coverage available for an actual-cash-value basis only, and for coverage of the basic risks listed in the policy.
