People hate paying high prices to sell their homes, so what would you like to see, would you like to be a little more hands on with the process and save money?
make your own fliers, MLS only, handle your own contracts, buy your own yard sign, show your own home? what services do you need and what do you not?
what is a fair price do you think to sell a home (percent, or same fee for all?)

4 Thoughts on What do people want in a Real Estate company? (options)?

I think a 1 or maximum of 2%.. I am serious.. I bought a house recently that did not even go on the market by the owner and He. the owner, paid the Realtor 6% or $ 18,000 and the Realtor did not do anything because the House sold so fast. Yes, the home company got 3%, the listing agent 1 1/2% and the Realtor himself a 1 1/2%.. but it is the home office that profitted so much

I think it’s a great idea to offer a discount for people who are do-it-yourselfers. That could become a very popular trend. You’re an awesome trend setter! If we ever sell the house we’re in, I would love it if a company offered me a certain percentage off if we did many of the things ourselves. I do like it when people take the time to act like they have an interest in my family and myself. When we bought this house the realator lived up the road so she came over on a weekend and let us check the house out, more than once. When we came in to spend an hour here with our kids, she left us alone to get a feel of the place. The house is in Maine and it was winter, the oil tank was out of fuel. She called the owners and that same night while we were there the tank was full and we were able to turn the heat on and check the home out. She didn’t have to do that, she could have told us to come back during more normal hours, and she didn’t have to leave us in the house t olet our kids run around like little monkeys…but she did. And for that I say WOO HOO……that’s what I like in a realator, hope I helped

Go to a flat fee Realtor who gets paid for effort rather than for his/her ability to get you to pay as much as possible.
