I don’t know if this is a dumb question or not but…

I currently have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler with 25k left on the loan. Monthly payments are 578$ . In the past year I have been late every month due to a job change/loss. I also have destroyed my credit from 700 to 450 as of today. To make it even worse, I am also a co-signer on a 8k Auto loan that she is behind 1 month as well.

My Jeep auto loan is through Ally Financial and I dont seem to think they have a direct contact to someone besides customer service / Collections that only have told me to go to a dealership and see about them purchasing the Jeep and requesting them to see if Ally would finance a care I pick out. I still need a vehicle for work and one with better gas mileage and simply just a cheaper payment atleast half if not more than half of the 578 I currently pay now.

Do I have any options? As In lets say a dealership does buy my jeep, how in the world would I beable to secure another reliable vehicle?

Thanks.
