I was at work Wed in my office and got an email from Cap 1 about my recent purchase. I looked again, $ 1k in the UK?!?! No man. Right after I got another email to call cap one ASAP. Spoke to fraud, they blocked my card. They said they also marked the charge so it wouldn’t post.
Well today it did post. Had to call back and open a fraud investigation and file a dispute.
Within 72 hrs the funds should show 0.00 again.
Anyone deal with this before? They will take care of the rest easy peasey?
