I have a medical collection account $ 1680. As I was in the process of making payment arrangement, all information the collection agency had for me was incorrect (Address/Phone number). At first the rep was only giving me the settlement offer of $ 850 then went down to $ 840 but with no deletion. After verifying all the information was incorrect she informed me her supervisor maybe able to remove it (hmmm). I really want it deleted off as if it did not exist. I have to call back to find out the supervisor decision. Should I be demanding something in particular? Just want to make sure I am using all my rights.
