Has anyone had any luck getting a platinum fee reduced, extra membership rewards…..etc becuase of complaining? Just got charged the $ 450 fee but the benefits havent been good compared to my Prestige. Concierge takes an hour on hold and cant even secure tickets that I could have gotten on my own but missed out on. ( My aunt and I both used our platinums on the phone at the same time for Justin Beiber. She got them I didnt. Same venues same specifications…EXACTLY) I would love to know if there is something beyond pricing disagreements I am seeing with all these large companies dropping Amex. I used to think of them as one of the best but unfortunately not anymore.
