I purchased my term policy on-line from Quote Smith, they have rates from several companies. There are many companies that do this and you can select from almost any of them. Just pick an insurance company that is well known and rated at least “A” by A M Best. Check prices for 10 and 20 year policies and decide which works best for your situation.

From experience, I can tell you to take with a grain of salt any initial premium quotes you are given. Generally, they will quote you their most favorable (lowest) rate, but you won’t receive the final (real) quote until after the underwriting review is done (medical questionnaire, physical exam, etc.).

There are many. It depends on what you really want. If you have home or auto insurance I would get some quotes from them. Usually that will save you a little money on your auot and home policies. Other than that go with a company that has been around for for awhile is rated good and has lots of money or reserves. Life insurance companies bank on people not dieing anytime soon. How is your health? It is a little know fact that you can get a a price a policy for free. You just need to decline it when it gets approved if it is too expensive. THey will return any money you paid out for down payment.

I would only deal with an A rated company from AM Best or Weiss Rating, You can also contact your states Insurance commissioner to see if any company has had judgments against them. I would suggest using an agent, because if you get to claim time I have heard of horror stories of dealing with companies directly. Like 6 month to settle a claim. Those would a few of my suggestions. Most of your main stream companies will be good ones to work with. Good Luck.

No, because you’ll have to buy through an agent licensed in YOUR STATE.

So find the agent first, tell them you want a nice 20 year term policy, guaranteed renewable and convertable, and let them give you at least 10 different quotes from A rated companies. That’s all there is to it.

My wife and I have a policy with Primerica. Great rates and, most especially, we have one policy that covers both of us.I am on policy as a spousal rider. After our son is born, we will add both children on for one price maybe 15k @ $ 10-13/month. This is paid one time and covers ALL existing children AND ANY others we may have. ALL policies are level term- cost DOES NOT go up for length of term, unles you get 10% increase per year for 10 years. During the ten years, the premium goes up, after the ten years, premiums stay the same til the end. Once you reach the end, you can renew the policy- WITHOUT a medical exam.

And, yes, because of this I became a representative of the company.
