    You can get your credit REPORT for free at http://www.annualcreditreport.com but I don’t think it includes your score. You should be able to look for inacuracies without your score though. You should also be able to figure out where you stand from the report.

    Not really… but…

    I believe that all three of the bureau’s have monitoring sites that offer free trial periods. I know that Experian’s, Credit Expert, will require you to enter your credit card info, but as long as you cancel before the end of trial time they don’t charge the card or place a hold on funds. I would think that the same would hold true for Equifax and Trans Union.

    You get your free report at AnnualCreditReport.com but you have to pay for the score — cost $ 6 ot $ 8.

    If you are only concerned with your score, the best place to get that is MyFICO.com. You have to pay for it. But the FICO score is the only one that really counts. The credit bureaus have their own scoring methods.
