This is a matter of public record and can be found at the Reigster of Deeds office. Look up your County office numbers and call them with questions, then you usually will have to go in to look up the information.

depends on what county and state you live in, most places have a property appraiser’s web site. trying typing in a google search county name property appraiser and see what you get from there. There should be options to search by address and it will show who owns it.

You may be able to find records online! Do a Google search for your County and the word “Appraiser’s Office”. Then do a search on the property… That should give you ALL the information! Good Luck!

At the county office of records (usually the court house complex). You can do the search yourself, but when it comes to buying it if you need to finance it the mortgage company is going to require title insurance which requires a title search by a professional (for which you will pay). In any case you should purchase title insurance to protect you from any possible title defects.

go to the town clerk…I have done this my self as a title search..not only did I find out who owned the property, I also learned ALL about my neighbor…You can also learn boundaries and make sure there are no leans on your property..YOU can do it yourself no need to hire some one…it’s public record
