I have bad credit due to some bills I couldn’t pay when I lost my job. However, they won’t let me make payments they want the whole lump sum which in total would be around $ 6000. Anyway, I can’t get a loan so I was wondering if anyone knew of a legit consolidation company in order to combine all my bills so I can make one payment??? Or if you have any other suggestions please let me know….I’m desperate I hate owing.
Also, what happens if I get sent to court???

5 Thoughts on I need a good debt consolidation or loan….Any ideas?!?

is it collections agencies who PURCHASED charged off

Get everything in writing and tell them you are recording
their phone calls and seriously try and record their calls
and save any messages they leave.

call the company and ask for a settlement amount most companies will give you 50% on every dollar and split it up into 1-2 payment but when you call and ask be ready to pay something or set something up otherwise the offer will no longer stand! this is how i got my self out of debt 20,000 it took about 18mo and only ended up paying about 12,000 back it is better then the debt comp cause that shows on your credit history that you are using a company verses doing it on your own. And if they do not show up on your credit as helping yoiu they hold your money and then pay one off at a time you would be better setting up a savings acount and saving till you have enough to cove atleat 50-75% of the debt that you owe

You can get it done, if you follow these instructions carefully.

First get one of those credit cards that offer 0% for a yr or so.

Transfer the $ 6K to that card….THROW THE CARD AWAY
did you get that part? THROW THE CARD AWAY

Using that card will make this plan completely useless.

Pay as much as you can every month. $ 500 per month should do it.

If you use the card, the charges you make will draw interest charges. All payments you make will go towards the 0% balance…all new charges will keep drawing interest and you will be back where you started.

Don’t be late with a payment or your 0% will be gone.

You can beat them at their own game, but you must be diligent.

If you’re not too far gone, Consumer Credit Counseling Service can help negotiate lower payments as well as reduce interest and stop penalties while you pay down your debt in one monthly payment. They don’t offer loans, but they will help you get back on the road to being responsible with your credit. Check out the website I’ve listed below, and contact the CCCS in your area.
