i went to the doctor to be told i wasn’t expecting and give three different of high blood pressure medication.however,i wasn’t content what i was told.so i called the insurance and told them that i wanted to see another doctor and that i was unhappy with service itself.i had an ultra sound done and im expecting.i went back to that doctor office and they immediate called me in two prescription of folic acid 1mg and metoprolol er succinate 25mg twice a day.i read on the internet that folic acid help with birth affect itself.

3 Thoughts on how is it that the doctor try to correct a malpratice mistake?

    Well, your question is a bit confusing, but it seems like the first doctor made a mistake. It happens, and as long as nothing is wrong with the baby, you shouldn’t worry about it.

    I am guessing you are worried about birth defects…My guess is that with your genetics, birth defects might be an improvement.

    What is your question? Folic acid is often prescribed to pregnant women because there is some evidence it assists fetal growth and prevents certain defects.

    The doctor is trying to keep your baby healthy, so I don’t understand what you’re asking?

    There isn’t enough info here for even a doctor to tell you whether there was any ‘malpractise’ involved in missing the diagnosis. A number of factors could have played into that decision, including what you told the doctor. If an ultrasound detected the pregnancy, it must have been well along, further than most initial diagnoses occur, but as I say, there isn’t enough information to decide how likely such a mistake was.

    The main point should be to keep the baby healthy, which is what the doctor is doing.
