If I buy this car: 2010 Accord EX Sedan Special Featured Lease
$ 219.00 per month for 36 months. $ 2,599.00 total due at signing.
I will be paying $ 10,483, plus I know I have to pay other fees such as license and title’s fee, etc.

However, the pricing for this car starts at $ 23,830…??? How come this amount varies so much from the one above even if interest is added??? Thankyou. I’ve never bought a car from dealership as you notice.

2 Thoughts on HOw does special offers work? I want to buy a new car…Pls read: I read in honda.com?

Because you are looking at a lease, you aren’t buying a car, you are renting miles. If you go over the miles, it will cost you. If you damage the car, it will cost you. At the end of the lease you can walk away, or get a newer car with a new lease, or purchase the vehicle for what the value is at the end of the lease.

The prices you see don’t include tax or title or excess mileage or wear & tear.

Honda is betting that in 3 years they can sell the car and be made whole.

And lots of people go over on mileage & wear & tear.

Only the top 10-20% of credit consumers can qualify to lease.
