    For starters you need a Business Plan which will help you focus and stay organized. You need to file as a corporation or a limited liability company (LLC)-most likely LLC- in your state through the Division of Commerce or Corporations; obtain a Federal Employer Identification Number when filing in your state; state and federal tax filings; business location – commercial lease – liability insurance – source of goods/books, i.e. on-line wholesale, local, own collection, combination. Employees and state/federal laws on workplace conditions, minimum wage, withholding taxes, etc. Here’s a sample Business Plan outline:
