you can OWN your own home without paying a mortgage by building it yourself. but you will have to buy the property, unless you get some as a gift or inheritence.

If you want to own your own home w/o having a mortgage you would have to pay cash for the full purchase price or buy all the materials and build one. You could also consder buying a 2 or 3 unit building and having the rent of the other units that you are not living in pay for the mortgage that way you would not be paying it out of your own pocket.

If u have enough cash available with u then u can do whatever u want without taking a mortgage to buy a new property or taking a construction loan to build a new house. If u dont have enough money with u and still u want to buy a new home without taking any mortgage then ask any of your friends or family members to lend u the money.

Well if you don’t want a mortgage then you have to pay cash when you buy or build. But you do have to buy one to own one

Unless you pay cash for all the building materials, and do all the work yourself, or pay cash to the construction laborers and build on land that you own free and clear, you will still have a mortgage even if you build a house.

depends on where you live how much you make and are able to save. you can buy a small older home. for example i live in the midwest i saw a small 3 bed home around 800-900 sq feet for 65,000…. so if you live in affordable place then you can maybe save your money for a few years… try to buy the cheapest home that will be what you need in a decent area… so if you could afford 1200 rent/mortgage buy one that would make your mortgage payment only 600 or less and then you pay extra on it and pretty soon no mortgage. unless you have loads and loads of money in the bank….:) thats my plan to buy a cheap home. sometimes we all need a mortgage…
