We found a corner lot home in Gilbert – Higley school district that comes close to what kind of a home we want. it is facing the recker/pecos intersection ( the backyard). Although if you are aware of the home building in AZ, usually the streets are far off, and you have your backyard privacy. It is E/W facing lot. Will it be a problem to sell it due to the traffic. On top of that, the builder is charging the corner lot premium. Everything else is perfect, the only concern is since it is on the intersection, will it be a problem to sell? The entry/front yard is inside the community. the Backyard is the intersection, with the huge community walls backing up. Its hard to find a home in AZ, where you are not looking into your neighbor’s backyard. Again, this is a corner lot….no neighbor on the other side, little greenland and then a neighbor…also do you think new buld home prices will still fall in Arizona?

    I’m an agent north of you and YES, prices will continue to fall. Not a great time to buy now at all.

    Hi,

    Well prices will certainly dip a bit more, but the market will pick up surely before you have any intentions of selling. Location is the KEY, but what you have described seems fine interm of a re-sale. One little point, make sure the traffic at the intersection does not cause excessive noise. This is a major pitfall.
