    So, the Dems and Repubs are going back and forth on how to deal with the debt. The Dems want to raise taxes and the Repubs want to cut Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid. But why isn’t anyone bringing up cutting the war budget? The war budget is roughly equivalent to all the social programs and cutting it would only be logical when many Americans oppose the wars we are in. Combine that with a SLIGHT tax hike for the rich and it could help decrease the debt over time.
