I have a few items on my Experian report that are more than 7 years old since it was opened.* When does the 7 year cut off technically start?

Date Opened:
11/2003
Date of Status:
01/2010
Reported Since:
08/2004
Last Reported Date:

I attempted to disupte this with Experian due to it’s age and they are telling me that it was correct?* What is the last reported date and why would this update if nothing has happened?* Does this mean a creditor can technically “update” this every few years to keep it on a report?
