Myself, wife and two boys aged 7 and 5. What will my take home be on say 50,000 GBP? Monthly? What tax code should I put on my P46. We will arrive Janaury 1, 2011. Upon arrival do I have Health Benefits with National Insurance? What about schools? I realize some are fee based and a bunch are not. Are there any hidden cost associated with school? Will our children have any problem attending a school very close to a rented flat/house? Will our family of four be able to live on 50,000 gbp? Company will pay 100 GBP for commute per month so we are not planning on a car while in the UK. I am assuming the following (Rent up to 1350.00, food 750, phone+internet+tv, 150, Electric 100, gas 100, cell phones 100) Total 2,550. Are these to conservative of a number? Rent of course could go down depending on my commute. I do want to be close to School with no more than a 45 minute commute. I will commute to Liverpool St.Station or Mooregate.
Where to live. close to train/tube,market,schools,parks etc.
What is cost to see Dr.? Do you pay and then insurance pays you back?
