I tried to transfer a balance from a high interest credit card to a no interest credit card. I’ve never done it before so I don’t know how long it will take. I signed up for the no interest card earlier this month and filled out the information for the transfer then. I’m not sure exactly how long it’s been but I would guess two weeks.

Since this is an electronic transfer, it should only take a few minutes. If one of the credit card companies told you it would take umpty business days, I’d sure ask them why. All cash transfers these days are done electronically. At the most it would take 24 hours, but not a week.

from my personal experience, it takes anywhere from about 5 days up to 2 weeks. It depends on the companies.
