…applying for a green card.? Hi!
Thanks to all of you that are participating in helping.
I am a F1 student attending college in the US since 2006. I have been married for 2 years to a US citizen. I work and pay taxes with my SSN without authorization and would like to know how it can affect my application? Also, my wife sponsored her step father that applied for a green card as well. He has not got his card yet! Should I put him down on the affidavit of support form? What is the USCIS looking for on the Tax transcript? They ask for the 3 most recent years transcript (2008, 2009, and 2010 in my case). In the 2008 transcript, my wife Adjusted Gross Income does not meet the 125% poverty guideline requirement but 2009 and 2010 are fine. Will that affect my application?
we have filed all of our taxes married filing separate. I had a working permit after I graduated with my associate but I did not stop working when it expired and I also started working before I got it. But I am still in college as an F1 student
