    Absolutely. Every US state has its own rules and regulations, but a good resource is the National Notary Assn at http://www.nationalnotary.org. Your state rules and requirements are available there.

    Be aware that there are a few states in which mortgage loan signings must be supervised by an attorney – MA is one, so depending on your location, this may not even be a viable option. There are also some states that require additional training and licensing to do mortgage loans, over and above what is required of a Notary Public.
