    Collapse due to the weight of ice or snow is generally covered. I say generally because if the wood was rotted due to inadequate maintenance the company might deny coverage.

    The standard DP3 dwelling policy will cover collapse due to weight of snow, AS LONG AS there’s no neglect or rot on the roof.

    If the snow made it collapse because it’s rotted, there’s no coverage.

    Only you can know if the roof has been leaking, and you should have replaced it years ago.
