Need homeowners insurance in Florida ASAP. Statefarm, Allstate, and many others currently aren’t writing policies. Does anyone know of any companies that are?
insureme.com did not provide any luck.

There are none. My mother lives in Fl and they stop selling insurance until November 1st because of hurricane season.

The only option you may have is try a broker that has access to many companies. You may be able to find something through a surplus and excess lines or Lloyd’s of London company. Worst case scenario check with your mortgage company about forced placed insurance through them. It wont cover you completely but would protect your mortgage in the event of loss. Good luck to you, I hope you find a solution.

You’ll probably have to get coverage through the Fair Plan, but if anyone can get you coverage, these guys can:

    They’re a Florida broker.
