There is none – credit scores are not free. You may get your score seemingly for free from a number of web sites, but in order to do that, you must sign up for a trial offer of their credit monitoring service, handing over a credit card number and then hoping you get your score before the trial is up and that you then remember to cancel the trial before it expires and the monthly charge kicks in (which you don’t get back).

You may buy your credit score(s) from the three credit bureaus as well as Fair Isaac for about $ 40 total.

You can buy your FICO credit score for a one-time fee of $ 19.95 at: http://www.myfico.com

There are free credit score estimation services at http://www.creditkarma.com and https://www.quizzle.com/ – There are only estimations and NOT the real FICO score. Never rely on these services for important things like mortgage loans.

You can get a free credit REPORT (not score) at http://www.annualcreditreport.com – This is the real free site to get your credit report once a year without a credit card.

MyFico.com used to give you all 3 of your REAL credit scores for something like $ 20 – $ 30, but I believe Experian no longer shows their credit score on there and you have to go to FreeCreditReport.com to get it.
