    Yes, this counts as credit if they report to the credit bureaus. The problem with these cards is that they can only be used at that store and many times have high interest. A mainstream card like a Discover or Visa is better if you can get one.

    Yes. All credit cards (store, MC, Visa etc) carry the same weight on your credit score. Just make sure that you do not max out your cards. Your credit score will be lower if you owe $ 500 on a card with a $ 500 limit than if you owe $ 1000 on a card with a $ 2000 limit. And too many credit cards (revolving credit) can hurt your score as well. Stick with one or two at the most if you are trying to rebuild your credit.

    Yes, no problem. Just make sure you always pay on time. Don’t even be one day late. Try to pay off the full amount, or as much as you can every month. Store cards have very high interest rates.
