    Your husband can be the sole leaseholder as long as his job alone provides enough income to qualify for the apartment. You will still have to fill out an application, but you would be listed as an occupant and not a leaseholder.

    If you need both of your incomes to qualify monetarily, you’ll have to sign the lease as well.

    that is up to the Landlord.
    for purchases– it is a different matter.

    He can if the landlord is willing to allow it.

    This is a question you have to ask landlords. Different ones will tell you different. This is what me and my husband have done with our current apartment. We did this so we wouldn’t get turned down while I get my credit on track.
