We have tried eBay and we found it extrememly difficult to compete with the larger power sellers. We are not exactly the best salespeople face to face, but we do not mind hard work and we do not mind putting in the hours as long as their is an eventual payoff.

Please don’t suggest MLM programs, envelope stuffing, pyramid schemes, eBay, cyber begging or anything illegal.

I am a school teacher. I LOVE teaching. I am a very good teacher in a midwestern high school. I would be very depressed to have to leave my position as a teacher because I love it so much. The prospect of going into the world of selling insurance or sitting in a cubicle depresses me even more.

What we (my wife, kids and I) need in order for me to keep teaching and for us to stay afloat financially, is a good financial opportunity. Thank you!

Possibly Yahoo small business has some of the answer to this. Since you are an educator already, perhaps you could start up a tutoring service on line, and publish on line helpful materials in education. Then too, if you are also involved in making and distributing some unique product such as craft items, again you might consider opening your own store front in Yahoo.

Gosh… the teaching profession is on the edge of a huge new distance learning revolution, based on the Internet. I’m surprised you don’t know about it!

My local HS offers courses in Chinese via an Internet course. The instructors use voice, video AND web content to teach the class. The 3 students taking the course simply report to the computer lab. The school can now offer virtually any language to any student, without worrying about scheduling or hiring a teacher!

Obviously, this means that you’d have to develop a course, then market it. However, this certainly can be done from a home office!!!

BTW, selling insurance is very enjoyable if that’s what God put you on earth to do. I know lots of happy establish agents, but only 5% of all agents last through that first year. The long-term survival rate is under 1%.

Put up a small Adv on your school notice board or in the community
Teach mathematics and help the children do their homework
charge a reasonable fee per hour if you get 5-6 students you are already making over $ 1000 a month. You need to spend two hours after your school either at home or a safe place where parents can send their children.

You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not look into MLM. There are good and bad companies out there. The good ones have freed my neighbors and I so that we can have an income to get us ahead. So, yes… I will mention it because you are mis informed.

If you are a teacher, you stand up in front of a class room, and educate people face to face. If you are selling wellness products, a skin care line, a legal program, an insurance program etc… You are standing up in front of people, educating them with a power point, and then allowing them to make an educated decision.

I am a teacher full time as well. I was actually introduced to my business by another teacher. We have a lot of coaches, assistant principals, and teachers in our business. I make about $ 500-$ 1000 extra dollars a month and only put in about 5 hours of work a week. This business is a good supplement to my income. There are many different areas of the business you can focus on, so it is good for anyone, really. I would be happy to share the information with you!

Most home businesses are MLM, and I was a little disappointed to see you group this industry with stuffing envelopes and pyramid schemes. If you are with a reputable company, nothing could be further from the truth.

I have a home business marketing only one product that has proven itself over and over again. It is the only product of it’s kind that comes with both medical and scientific validation.
Being you love teaching, you would have the opportunity to use those skills in teaching others….it’s what I do. I think you might be surprised at how quickly you can not only meet, but surpass your current income, and you can involve your family as well. I have taught my daughters the importance of owning a small business and even though they are both pursuing their careers, they are learning how to create leverage as well as residual income, which is necessary for young people. They have learned that they cannot rely on the government to look after them when they retire because most programs will never be in place by the time they retire.
I have several school teachers in my organization and they are doing extremely well. I would love to give you an opportunity to speak to them and hear how they have made a difference not only in their own lives but the lives of those they are teaching.

Hi. My husband and I stumbled onto something really great recently. One of the doctors my husband works with introduced this to us, and we soon discovered that it was the perfect business for us because it’s all about TRAVEL, which we love. So now we help people save tons of money on travel and also help them own their own online travel business, if they’re interested in that. Go to and it will explain all about it.

Yes, it IS a network marketing business, but so is Mary Kay, Pampered Chef and a whole lot of other successful businesses. The trick is to get in on the ground floor. I was the ultimate skeptic, now I’m so excited about it because we’re actually making money and we’ve only been at it a few months. And there is very little investment. It’s called WorldVentures, a brand new travel business, just over a year old – out of Dallas. Get in on the ground floor like we did; that’s where the opportunity lies. Please go to my website below and surf around. See what you think, and if you have more interest, feel free to contact me. See you on the beach!! Julie

There’s some good free legitimate programs at . It takes quite a while of hard work to get the cash flowing. Expect maybe $ 1000 a month in a year amd maybe 4-5,000 per month in four years. It may be 3 month’s before you get your first check but, it will come.
