    If they go to court and get a judgment against you and you still don’t pay, they can go back and ask for a lien.

    No. They simply terminate your coverage.

    Not the way you phrased the question.

    If you miss a payment on your insurance policy, your policy can get cancelled.

    If you have a private payment plan with an insurance company to pay them back, after you caused an accident and damage to their insured, then that is a valid collectable debt. Just like any other debt, they do NOT have to accept a payment plan, and they CAN attach your wages or assets (including your house or car) until that debt is paid off.
