You don’t say where your interests lies, so I can only give suggestions. Don’t overlook yard work (mowing grass, etc.) Some people make $ 70,000 a year at it. I would advertise a handyman service. Small painting jobs, window and door replacement, light construction. If you are into body building, you could offer training sessions. If you are good at fishing, you might become a guide. Good Luck

I have run my own business for years. You don’t need much start up capital for a business that is primarily online. It can even be done with no money being spent. If you are selling items, you can start slowly, buying items for resale and eventually building up to a larger inventory. Otherwise, learn a skill that you can sell.

Anything you wish, its as simple as that. Stop looking at biz’s that have been around for awhile, as no one can step into those shoes over night, everyone has to start small.

Do the cash conversions and use this as an example:

Got a car? Got a ladder? Got a box of trashbags? Got some rope? Got $ 35? Great!! You are now in business.

Get a basic dot com, free email and 1 page free site from ($ 10) then spend the other $ 25 at a printing company and get basic business cards printed up.

Use the rope to tie the ladder to the car, toss in the trash bags and drive to the nearest rich neighborhood. Walk up to the first door and ring the bell.

Hi, I’m John of John’s Gutter Cleaning service. I noticed your gutters needed cleaned and I am willing to offer my services to you. They ask how much, you say just $ 35 dollars. They agree so you get started.

Put the trash you collect into the trash bags, use the ladder to get on the roof, and use the rope to tie yourself off for safety. In an hour or less you knock again, thank them for the business and give them a card and get paid.

Now go next door and do it again.

Out of 1 day, you can easily knock on 30 doors and get 6 that say yes. So that is 6 x $ 35 = $ 210 per day x 5 days in a week = $ 1050 per week gross sales. Minus more biz cards, minus more trash bags, minus some gas from driving around, so say $ 900 clean profit. (USA) Taxes of 20% so this leaves you with $ 720 in your pocket, as your money.

My husband and I operate a part-time, home based business with no risk to our current careers. We do not sell ‘products’ as we have tried this before and know that it is too much work buying stock and holding it and having to meet monthly sales projections.
What we do is offer competetive rates on a service which people use everyday and we get paid month after month, year after year on that one customer – but we only do the work once.
We operate in 19 countries (we live in Australia) and our company has grown quite large in the UK. What we can offer you is a lot of support and training by people in your area as well as our own support.
We are a 14 year old company with a proven track record.
Please feel free to visit: and take a look at what we do. It may just be right for you.
    All the best to you.
