it sits on 5 acres, it has one house that is 3161 sq ft, the floors need done, huge kitchen was added on but it is seperating because the ground moves here, there is about a 3 in gap between the kitchen and the house.there is another smaller kitchen that can be taken out. 26 windows were broken by vandals. there is also a guest house that needs a kitchen, the small kitchen can be moved from the big house to the guest house. the guest house has 4 undefined rooms and a sun room. the glass doors to the sunroom were broken out. there is a pool house that has a changing room and a shower, it is above ground, it needs a new liner. im not caring if it works, we have a little one. i probably wont have it fixed until she is much older. it needs paint as well. it has a shop. it needs a new window. it has hook ups. there is also a natural pond. some stuff was thrown in it, it needs cleaned out. i will have my brother stay in the guest house rent free while he mows the property and paints all the buildings. it also has a barn that may need repairs and painting. it is going for $ 138,500.
the windows look new they still have the stickers of the company that put them in. i am wondering if they are still under warranty and if the warranty will cover the vandelised windows?
the house was built in 1987 and wondering if the warranty is still valid , will it cover the kitchen that is seperaing from the main house? or if the house insurance will cover these things? is there an easy fix for this if these things are not covered? like putting foam in the crack and putting putty to make it look like the grout in between the bricks?
we also talked about painting the cement that sits under the carpet and laminate. (when it gets muddy here, the mud stains, i am not interested in carpet)and ofcourse my brother will be doing the painting.
