Inability To Tether HTC Imagio To Laptop With Windows 7 – NOT Happy!!!
I recently added a new line to my existing service in order to get an HTC Imagio. I had MANY problems with BOTH the Blackberry 9630 Tour and the 8530 Curve and was fed-up with the Blackberry phones, so I decided to try a Windows Mobiloe phone again. Anyway, Imagine my surprise when I got the phone and installed all the software, including VZ Access Manager, only to find that I was unable to tether the Imagio to my laptop as I could with the Blackberrys because my laptop has Windows 7 and there are currently NO drivers for the Imagio to use it with Windows 7!! I was stunned when I discovered this - how long have BOTH Windows 7 AND the Imagio been out?!! I drive a tractor-trailer for a living and need to be able to connect my laptop to the Internet to do banking, check maps for locations of my deliveries, etc - this is TOTALLY inexcusable!! Nowhere on Verizon's website or in there stores did it state that you could NOT use this phone as a modem with a Windows 7 PC. VZW customer service directed me to the VZW Access Manager website so that I could watch for the release of the drivers, which was targeted for "mid of April, 2010" Well, I have been unable to connect to the Internet for much of the last week due to travelling with my job, but I got on tonight and checked the status of the Imagio's Windows 7 driver, and guess what?!! It now simply states "check back for availability", and the HTC Incredible is now the FIRST HTC smartphone to have a Windows 7 driver - **bleep**?!! Wasn't that phone just recently released and hasn't the Imagio been out for some time now? C'mon Verizon, your customer support REALLY sucks - how about supporting products that people ALREADY have in their hands FIRST?!! To see that they've released Windows 7 drivers for the Incredible BEFORE the Imagio or Touch Pro2 has just got me fed-up and I'm seriously considering returning the Imagio and cancelling my other 3 lines and going over to Sprint!! Hey, Verizon - can you hear me NOW?!!

htc touch pro 2 upgrade.
A while ago it was said that Verizon was planning to upgrade the tp2 to 6.5.3. Does anyone know if this is still the case?

Moto Q Contact Backup App
Why is it that the Backup Assistant Verizon uses is not for this phone ? Why tell an owner they need the app if they can not get it ? I am afraid Verizon is getting way too big, forgetting about the CUSTOMER ! I need to back up my contacts and can not.

Google Maps 4.1 with Search by Voice for Symbian S60 and Windows Mobile
Found this on UnWiredView. I downloaded the cab file and installed it on my Omnia, but I haven't tried the voice yet as it's 5am here in Hawaii and I haven't gone to bed yet. http://www.unwiredview.com/2010/04/22/google-maps-4-1-with-search-by-voice-for-symbian-s60-and-windows-mobile/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+UnwiredView+%28Unwired+View%29 Also on an unrelated note, I was checking out the HTC EVO 4G phone that's going to Sprint this summer. Looks like a pretty cool phone. To bad Verizon didn't snag that one.

I need help deciding what kind of phone to get!!
Ok, so I'm up for renewal and am in need of some help deciding which phone to get. I'm not real technically savvy....i know how to use phones but I don't know what it is made of or how it works, what makes it fast, what doesn't. First, what is the absolutely the best phone on the Verizon network and why? I've never used a virtual keyboard but am willing to try...is it hard? I need access to my email and watching videos would be nice too. I really don't want a heavy phone but give me your thoughts anyway. I was leaning toward the Omnia II.....???

Samsung Rogue and Audio Books / and the browser
I understand this is not exactly a smartphone. I moved from T-mobile to Verizon because of friends that have it and they seem to have better phones. I am simply flabbergasted by the level of security Verizon has to lock down their phones from letting users do what they want with them. After hours and hours of research I finally found how to do most of what I wanted to. There is one thing that I either do not know how to do, or for some reason they do not have as a feature. The V-Cast music player will read M4a and M4b audio book files, but will not save playback location in either Mp3, M4a, or M4b files. This means that the audio book that I put onto my phone will not save its location and I have to write down where in the book I am every time I exit the player. Even my 4 year old Nokia 6133 flip phone will remember where you are in an Mp3 file. The other concern I have is about the browser. Youtube says it will no longer be supporting this browser, and considering the phone just came out not long ago and I just bought it a few weeks ago, something has to be in the works for getting a new browser onto the phone. Also, the mobile flash is out of date and a lot of the videos will not play because of it. In regards to the media bookmarking. If it will not do it I assume they will probably release an app to get you to pay extra for the feature, as it seems Verizon likes to take your money any chance they get.

Talking while on the internet
Is there ever going to be a time when I can get on the internet at the same time I am talking? It seems like Verizon is the only cell phone company that doesn't do it.

UNKNOW APP. SITE
With all the griping I've done on app availability for the OM-2 and other phones with Verizon. It took 2-emails from Verizon's Support site to get this little unknown site that Verizon has. Of course I could be the only one didn't no about this. Anyway here it is.... http://store.handango.com/verizonwireless/home.jsp?siteId=857 . Though its run by Handango its more geared towards a specific phone that you might have. It sure was't advertized or put on any of there web sites along with The My verizon page.Good quality support- NOT. still can' t figure out why these apps arn't tested out on the phones they say there suppose to work on... Heres two that don't work.. from this Verizon/Handango site. 1.) JETCET PRINT for Windows Mobile Professional 2.) Elecont Weather 10-day and hourly forecast, barometer, alerts (WM 6.5 Ready) - infinite subscription Won't install due to bad certificated and or this phone/pda. Still havn't found a print program that works.

Stylus for Omnia II
So I've lost the stylus for my Omnia II. It was bound to happen. And it might turn up. However, I've looked on the Samsung site, the Verizon site, and several other accesory websites. I can't find the original stylus that fits the contour of the phone. Anywhere. I don't want a goofy-looking stylus that has a string attached or a pin clip that I'll eventually break and I'll lose. Any ideas? Thanx, Geri O

HTC Incredible
Anyone heard or seen any information on the HTC Incredible? Like when it might be coming to Verizon? Cost?
