Touch Pro 2 contact manager
Hi all, I am running WM 6.5 on my Verizon TP2. Overall, I am happy with the phone. However, the default Touch Flo contact manager is horrible. I will often select a contact to view their info, then go back to the list of contacts using the on screen Back button. This takes you to the top of the list instead of where you were previously which is very frustrating when you have a long list of contacts. Also, there is no convenient way to change the way ALL contacts are displayed. You can change them one by one but can't change them all to be First Name Last Name instead of Last, First that I can find. My first question is, how do I change the default contact manager in Touch Flo to be the Windows contact manager instead of the stripped down HTC version? In other words, when I click on My Favorites, then click on All Contacts, I want to be taken to the Windows contact manager instead of the HTC version. The same goes for the Contacts link on the Phone screen. My second question is, any good alternative contact managers out there that address the problems with the default contact manager? I am happy with the Touch Flo interface and want to continue to use it but their version of the contact manager needs to go. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, hiaxis

Stuck in London with my HTC Imagio and can’t make a call
I am in London with my HTC Imagio and I can't seem to find a provider who will accept my phone for anything but emergency calls. I called Verizon before I left and the phone was enabled up for international use. I can see the various provider Networks but none of them will let me make calls. Can someone tell me what's going on? Is there some configuration I have to do. Who is Verizon's partner in the UK?

Navigator Crashes
I have had a prblem with Navigator crashing when navigating to recent locations or favorites. Supposedly Verizon has been working on a fix since at least early March when I notified them of the problem. Any one else having this problem?

Email outgoing server port number in Windows Mobile
I received an email from Verizon FIOS saying that, starting June 1, I have to use server port 587 when sending mail. The server port on my Imagio doesn't appear to be configurable. Presuming I use WiFi to send email, that seems like a problem. Ideas?

Bing With Turn-by-Turn Directions!!!! (Except on Verizon)
The latest version of Bing for Windows Mobile offers free turn-by-turn voice navigation....except for Verizon Wireless customers. I can understand Verizon wanting to protect its revenue from VZ Navigator, but can't you at least be consistent? If you let Motorola Droid customers use the Google Navigation, you should also let Windows Mobile customers use Bing Navigation. We are paying the same for our data plans.

Verizon hints at end of "Unlimited data Plans" and talks of first 4G handsets
Found this on Engadget from March 11th but hadn't seen it before..... http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/11/verizon-promises-first-4g-handset-for-next-summer-foretells-end/ Sprint should have a 4G handset out late this month or early next month. Hope Verizon can get something soon.... (hate that word)

HTC Incredible Update just nuked my widgets!
Anyone else experience this? Lost my clock/weather widget, my music, my dedicated weather, pictures, ... hell, everything execpt facebook and google search. They are no longer on my phone. If I wanted to be treated like this, I would have purchased an iPhone. What is going on Verizon?

How do you update the OEM Bing installation on the Touch Pro 2?
How do you update Bing on the TP2 under Verizon WinMo 6.5? Bing Mobile 4.6 is preinstalled on the phone . The version available from m.bing.com is 5.something, but when you install it, the start menu link still runs the OEM 4.6 version. No way to uninstall the OEM version, either. Thanks in advance, -E

Disappointed with Response to problem with Samsung Omnia
Friday contact Verizon customer support to address memory criticallty low condition on my Samsung Omnia told to do hard reset to install new software version. Up until 3:00 a.m. trying to install with no luck as it keeps getting hung up after device restart. (tried on 3 different computers Windows XP and Windows 2000). Call the following morning to discuss told problem with my equipment which is now out of warranty. Phone still operable and low memory condition eliminated for now. Now the #777 indictes it cannot make broadband connection because password and domain is no longer on device. I call Verizon Tech Support again and am told I can do a hard reset and not to add any email as this will cause the same condition. I ask to speak to a supervisor none are available as they are all in a coaching training session and will contact me in 24 to 48 hours. Options get a new phone or use the one I have with limited functtionality. Frustrating that Verizon never informed me that a software upgrade was available to fix a known problem, and now I am out of warranty with limited options. Any advice?

#777 and Data 11 errors on Imagio (Mobile 6.5)
I was able to access the web from my phone for a week but Imagio stopped connecting this last Wednesday with the #777 error message. Verizon Wireless tech says it is because I cannot save a user name and password in the data connection therefore the phone should be returned for replacement. HTC says the Verizon system does not do it that way. I am leaning towards HTC's advice since it worked and nothing changed when I lost service and the other posts seems to agree on the user name and password situation per HTC. thank you ahead of time
