Should I go back to school to get a Masters in Business in Event Management in Australia?

You can’t get a masters in Event Management in the United States as of right now. The school in Australia is accredited by the US government though.

I want to be an Event Coordinator. I already have 2 years experience in that field. I also already have a Bachelors in Communications.

I took out loans for my undergrad and will have to take out even more loans for my masters. I will be in a significant amount of debt when I am done.

I am scared that in this economy and with the credit crisis I will not see a return on my Masters degree when I come home.

Please help!

I know we are around 13 trillion dollars in debt. But, I want to know, how can we get out of it? How long will it take? Also, when we do get out of it, what will we invest into? Will it be technology, immigration, energy, education, etc. Why are we in so much debt?

We are on the H1B visa in the United States from past 3 years, applied for the green card and planning to buy a home (prices are low now and also benefit the economy if possible), but the question arises – why do people wait to buy property until they get the Green Card ?

I have enough to buy this condo flat out. I don’t really trust myself with this much cash and I’d just like to get it off the table before I do something stupid with it. I’m not really concerned about having liquid funds hanging around because I’m 22 with no kids and no loans, and I’d like to keep it that way. Is there any particular benefit to mortgaging? Any reason I should go with a mortgage as opposed to paying cash?
