Can marijuana be illegal without an Amendment? Alcohol needed one.

I have an interesting question that I've not seen before, although someone else could have asked it.   "Why is marijuana illegal without a constitutional amendment as required by the overriding legal precedent established by the 18th and 21st Amendments?   (I am not defrending or advocating the use of marijuana, only questioning the "Laws" against it, which then questions actions that Americans have had to suffer from the Government, and then the eventual reach of said "laws" by future Government entities that can then be used against innocent Americans.)   The precedence I speak of is the 18th Amendment: "In the history of the United States , Prohibition , also known as The Noble Experiment , was the period from 1920 to 1933, during which the sale, manufacture, and transportation of alcohol for consumption were banned nationally as mandated in the Eighteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution . _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ So, as identified, the Federal Government/Judicial System established that in order for the Federal Government to restrict the use of anything consumed by individuals (i.e.-alcohol, etc.) required a Constitutional Amendment, as established by the Federal Government's use/production of the 18th Amendment (which would supersedes any and all "Bills' passed by Congress). As an American and with the "Right" established by, "The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights . The amendment prohibits the making of any law.......or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances ." I question how the Federal Government could "legally" restrict anything based on the previously requirement of the 18th Amendment in order to restrict the "sale, manufacture, and transportation of alcohol for consumption..." The big question I ask is, " Based upon the 18th and 21st Amendments, it is obvious that the Federal Government established legal precedent (duh, for those who went through the "public education system).    Then how could the Government legally restrict the consumption of anything, based on the 9th and 10th Amendments of the Bill of Rights (more maybe?)? So, while I am not a consumer or advocate of marijuana, etc., I believe that the law must be administered in the effort to enforce Justice and not to just satisfy "legal" statutes, of course we, 'Real" American know Bastiat,” "When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that justifies it." Frederic Bastiat This is an important question! Even for those against the use of marijuana! If any of you believe in any religion or have a strong set of morals, then you believe in "equal treatment" of people under the "Law", and surprise, surprise, surprise....the American legal system is really a shame and advertises that it (supposedly---have any readers actually been through the system, whether guilty or innocent?) believes in "equal treatment under the law" (unless you are related to a powerful politician, lobbyist, or big financial contributor), but if one is an antagonist/exposer against the "system", then expect to be crushed by the "local" system, which every town, city, State, and Federal establishment has. One will lose their job, be audited, be blackballed in their industry, or have the local police follow them until they "run a red light, fail to yield, etc., and if that is not enough, then the police will fabricate a charge to remove you for "making" waves in their "pond" or upsetting the local political goons (my accusations can be documented if challenged. If someone thinks I'm making this up, then let’s see if anyone responds with support for my claims - read Judge Napolitano’s books, i.e. -easy documentation).   Quite a quandary (!!!!) for the honest and principled Americans and the American legal establishments that have done nothing but abuse/violate The Constitution since there is no "Amendment" making the use of marijuana illegal, as required by the 18th/21st Amendments! Of course, certain "legal" entities froth at the permission they receive from the "Government" and they love to abuse the "People" with their puffed-chests, badges, Courts, and guns.   If the Federal Government admitted ("legally") that (per the 18th and 21st Amendments) that it required an amendment to The Constitution to establish (or repeal) any LAW restricting the consumption of "anything" (food, drug, liquid, etc.), then how in the hell have the American People, or our elected Representatives, in whatever division, the House or Senate, legally allowed such abuse to occur (because they (the representatives) are criminals; and I can defend that position; read Article I, Section XI, paragraph II)? I know why and it is sickening to Real Americans, and I loudly admit that I know that members of Congress, the Senate and House, believe that they're "Above the Law"!!!! We can all name numerous times the "Elite" politicians horribly violate the LAW and then retire to their mansions instead of prison where the average American would be sent! (Uh, why isn't Rep. Rangel in prison for his numerous tax evasion scams?...hmmmm) The "Elite" (rich and about to be richer), their staffs, and their companies are “Above the Law”..   There are those "Above the Law" and then you the American People.....slaves to the "Elite and their establishments" (which can be identified). Arizona

So now everyone has to carry their ID around with them just in case they are stopped by police who can do it now that the law is passed.  I do not live there, but i do not agree with it because if the police do not like how you look, drive, or anything else they can now be stopped and if you are not a citizen of the United States off to prison you go.  I certainly hope that those who are born here in the US will be wary of the law.

Credit newbie questions

Hi everyone,   I've really been enjoying reading this board but I have a few questions of my own that I haven't been able to find answers to. Seems like the crowd here is knowledgeable and could help out or at least give some advice.   I'm not so much a credit newbie, as I am new to the United States (since August). I have a Citibank Visa (from August) and another Citi MasterCard (from October). I read about credit piggybacking on here, so my fiancee, who is American, added me to her Discover card and it's on my report, but that card is pretty new anyway. I'm reluctant to have her add me to her other cards which have longer payment histories, because they have a couple of late payments (though none in the past 3 years).  Apart from my luck with Citibank, however, I've not had much luck - I tried to get an Amex and a Nordstrom card in November but was declined. Needless to say, I have nothing "bad" on my report like missed payments or collections or what have you.   I just checked my scores on this site, and I have a 706 on TU and 618 on EQ. So I guess that's okay, but my credit history is of course very short. I've started getting pre-approved offers in the mail (mostly from Capital One and Orchard), but I'm reluctant to apply because 1) I fear I'll be declined again, 2) the APRs are not that great and 3) Orchard, anyway, has both an application fee and a huge annual fee.   So to get to my question (thanks for reading on this far) - what should I do to get my scorse to increase? I can't tell if I should be trying to apply to some of these offers or just wait to build payment history and my accounts to age. I'm also not sure if getting my fiancee to add me as a user on some of her older cards would be a net positive, since they contain late payments (though evidently not many since her scores are all above 730).   Any and all advice would be appreciated. I'm not desperate for credit or anything, just trying to chart the right course to build my credit effectively and well here in the United States.   Matt.
