furniture??

we are a low income family and recently lost everything in an apartment fire. we did not have renters insurance so we are s.o.l…..landlords insurance will send me only $ 400.00. anyway, i wonder if anyone knows where i can get help with furniture as i cannot sleep on the cold floor anymore.(this puter is borrowed and internet cheap and pd for). we live in northern berkshire county massachusetts. any help….?
