Just upgraded my Alias 2 to an HTC TP2. New phone came in yesterday (winMo 6.5). I copied all my Contacts from the Alias 2 to an SD Card. Moved the SD Card to the new TP2 but have not been able to find anywhere that can tell me how I Import the contacts from the SD Card to the TP2. The Contacts are stored vCard files (400 Different vCards) on the SD Card. Can anyone tell me how to Import those vcards (over 400 of them so one at a time is not the preferred method) from the SD Card to the Contacts list on the PT2? I have read all the manuals (twice), Search the web for hours, Downloaded 10 different programs.. and have yet to find way to do this most simple of tasks. I have to be overlooking something amazingly simple.

I’ve done a great deal of searching, and to my infinite frustration all of the common search engines some how are mistaking “application killer” for “killer application” which everyone and their mom thinks that their applicaton is killer, and so the search has been completely worthless. My TP2 has awesome battery life but as everyone knows, I open / close Skyfire, and Youtube, and the games I play on it and before you know it, the 58% memory it starts up with turns into 80% memory and the batterylife goes down quick, and the phone slows down a lot. So I have to turn it off, turn it back on a few times every day to get it back to its 58%. And of course I check “running apps” and nothing’s on there. I also searched the forum quite a bit and nothing was ringing bells for when we used to talk about app killers way back when. So I was pretty please hoping people could take 2 seconds and drop some app killer names for me that would be friendly to my TP2. Much, much appreciated.

Hi all, I just got a Treo Pro (upgrade from 700p) and I am getting used to the Win OS from Palm OS. I am trying to downlaod apps and when it asks where to store, it gives me FIle location., and I put them on the storage card or device, but when I try to open them it states I "need to have an application associated with i.e snappyseeker_ota_en. Run the application first,then open this file from within the application" I have had a devil of a time trying to figure out what Application I’m supposed to use or install. Doesn’t matter if prc or some other ending. I still get teh standard message of "There is no application assiciated with Opera Mini.( another I"m trying out)Run the application first, then open this file within the application" How do I get these downloads to one central locale and install them. Sorry I"m so breathy- but this Win OS is starting to drive me a little nuts trying to learn. ONly had phone 5 days and need a good manual on these type of things. Thanks
