If I ever get the opportuinty to design my dream home, I would like it to have a flat roof. I like the look of hard shapes, and I also place importance on standing out from the crowd. I was wondering about the pros and cons of such a residence.
I understand that large buildings such as a walmart would need a flat roof for obvious reasons, but even small buildings like gas stations have them.
Is there any financial advantage to either? heating costs? maintainace? materials?
