You can barter with a private home owner on their asking price, but could you also do so if you purchased your home directly from the building company? Or, are builder prices non-negotialble?

 

Or is every insurance agency going to quote you the same because flood insurance is based on national rules and regulations? does the cost of insurance vary from agent to agent?

 

Three houses in my nighborhood were bought by a certain Yehude Feldmann. Each one of those homes were originally between 400K and 500K. They were foreclosed and Mr. Feldmann bought the three for 260K. How is that possible? Why can one single person buy a whole neighborhood for cheap this way? Is that even legal?
