Myfico reads less than perfect while the freecreditreport.com reads fair to excellent on all the credit bureaus. Which one should I focus on and how is this possible?

I’m searching for a new rewards credit card and see that some sites offer different cards depending if your credit is Excellent, Good, Fair, or Bad. I recently purchased a house and have my recent credit score searches handy. What number does my score have to be to fall into the Excellent category?

Is it true if I should close my oldest credit card account that I have had but never used? Closing the account will help improve my credit score because I’ll have less potential credit card debt? Please advice.

I lost my credit card and Capital One is going to send me a new one and change the account number. Will this affect my credit score at all since my old account is going to be closed and a new one opened? does changing account numbers affect my credit score
