I have a few questions but the most important question is What can I do?

Situation

My husband and I bought a house brand new in 2004 from the builder Pine Grove Corporation

There was a drainage stream about 4 foot wide and maybe two feet deep when we purchased the home in the far back corner of the property. Since my family home has a creek that floods we asked if this creek would flood (The answer to that was no it will not flood the stream it is just a run off for rain} Well it floods and floods bad one neighbor just lost their house over their little run off and I had to be taken from my house in a rescue boat even though the water never made it into the house itself just up to the porch) On our survey from the builder it states that there in no creeks, streams, lakes, river, or running water near the property,

Question How can they state this when it goes through everyone’s property?

Next Situation
The family that lost their house the insurance company is still going through their case but they found out the builder did not have the permits to build our houses where he did, his company built 20 house in wetland?

Question
What if anything can the home owners do? Can we sue the builder? And what are the odds of us winning?

I think he should at least buy the houses back with the land since it came in a package deal when he sold it. I don’t even care about the thousands I have put into this house I just want the builder to reimburse the homeowners on what we paid him.

fairbanks capital while in court on class action and w social security an other mortgage comp doing refi they still forclosed on my home saying i didnt have homeowners ins i bought a years worth befor bought the home and the told me they would cancel the 3rd auction date but sold it any way and did not notifie me i was notiefied by the new owner the lady that did my loan in the first place it sold for 250. i bought not even a full year before for 268. i owed 191. on it put 72thous down cash and two days before auction appraised at 410. i had 5 days to leave w my children been in the streets since need someones help please tired of bein homeless and lost everything the new owner threw all my belongings in the dumps including my twin daughters remains how much sicker can one be everything i worked for for 22 years my home business my home my kids home thier baby stuff and all my daufgrt memorial and even thier ashes even though the eviction papers said i had 15 days assaulted by owner.

I was foreclosed in 2004. Through the entire process, I worked with the lender and their attorneys, and even notified them of my forwarding address should they need to send me additional correspondence. The house was sold in May ‘04. My original loan had a 1st & 2nd mortgage (to avoid PMI). I talked to their attorneys who advised me that that the house was sold for enough money to cover what I owed. I assumed that the entire debt(1st & 2nd) was covered. Now, 3 years and 8 months later, I received a letter from a law/collection firm asking for the second mortgage balance, including interest of over $ 9,000. I have one income, and bought a house in 2006. I’m in no position to pay this. Am I still obligated to pay the balance, considering that I almost four years have elapsed before I was notified of this? I want to do what’s right, but I cannot afford to add an additional loan to what I currrently have now. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
