Location
The gps weather updating for “My Location” quit working. Right after installing to Mobile 6.5 it worked. GPS location for Co-Pilot and Google maps both work very well. While trying to update the GPS icon is rotating but after a few minutes it will stop but the weather is not updated. Can someone help me to get this to work again and if not how can I remove it? Thanks, Billy

I recently switched from WM6.1 to WM6.5. Overall good experience, battery life about the same as before, as stand alone phone it keeps charge for few days. If I use other application (internet, GPS etc) it drains faster but not worse then 6.1 My problem is that the time does not update when I fly from one time zone to another within US. My Location time stays on my home time zone. Location is on, and the weather updates to the new location – so the phone knows where it is. On Start/ Settings/All Settings/ Personal/ Phone /CDMA service / Time Synchronization I have checked “Time synchronize with mobile network automatically. Network is CDMA only (I have unlocked GSM SIM card so I do not want it to connect to GSM network automatically). What is weird that sometime it gets correct local time and when I force it to time synchronize it goes back to my home time zone. Same with the appointment in the calendar. Let say I have 3:00pm appointment set on the west coast. My home time zone (Central) has it at 3:00PM. When I land on the west coast it switches to 1:00pm to keep it at 3:00pm central time. Is there a way to switch these settings? Thanks Jay

Anyone have hard date when VZW will have HTC TouchPro2 available for anxious upgrade customer???
We are on a family plan (2 phones). One is a Blackberry Curve with the web and email plan, which we find we are not really using. It was, of course, Mandatory when we purchansed the phone. Does anyone know for sure if we can now drop that portion of the service since we are not using it? – (We still like the Blackberry because it syncs with our computer based contacts and Calendar.)
I had my Samsung Saga almost 4 months and I did not have any issue until 2-3 weeks ago. Now, every time I was in my car and the phone is connected to Bluetooth in the car audio, my phone freezes or slow down……….it takes 30 seconds to move one screen to the other. I cannot even use "contact" to find the phone number that I need to call. I have called into Verizon tech support but they only suggested to go through "*228" and take option 2 to update the system. But it did not help at all. Is there anyone having the same problem???

My digital settop box will only work with component cabling and optical cable to my Denon AV. From there I go with HDM to the TV. To make the switch to all HDMI from the box to the AV to the TV does there need to be a adjustment to the Verizon box? Or does it sense which out put is being used? Or might the problem be that I need to tell the Denon AV where it should receive it’s tv signal? Or both? Thanks!

I have been experiencing the same handshake issues that many others have with the 7216 DVR. Does anyone know when an update will be released to resolve this or should I just go and try to get my 7216 replaced with a 6416?
After constant problems with the "intermittent drop of signal” whether I used HDMI or component cables, the worst programming guide accuracy I have ever witnessed, and of course the lack of recording space, I bit the bullet and bought a TIVO HD and an external hard drive and my total storage capability is now 93 hours of HD programming. The cost was approximately $350 with tax for both (cheapest place to buy the TIVO was on the phone at TIVO). The results after having the cable card installed: Everything is perfect. Customer service has been wonderful. If this changes, I will post the news. I have absolutely no gripes except I should never have reached the point to where I had to spend the money. Such is life. I am going to give it another 30 days and if it works out I will be ordering the TIVO HDXL to replace my other 7216.
