Buying my first home at 22 years old? :D When did you buy your first home?

I am a college student working my way through school, and just turned 21 a couple weeks ago.

I am majoring in Business and double-minoring in Japanese/Economics…I was raised by my single-mom with no child-support from my criminal father. I have had a lot of stressers in my life, esp these past three years. The stress has hospitalized me and caused me to become a workaholic…until recently.

I was saving up to study abroad in Japan for a year…but just realized I have been working so much, that if I continue to work (but less hours), and take a tutoring job studying abroad that I will be able to afford to buy my first home!

I’m really excited. I live in California, but there is another state I also love…and I could afford a few-bedroom adobe home in a nice area there!

I can’t believe it, because I never expected to be able to even think of buying my first home until I was at least 27+

I would be buying the home for my 22nd birthday.
When did you buy your first home…and did you expect to have purchased one earlier or later on?

In Japan, it is a home loan for 2%. how can I get a loan, so if I live in Australia. I peple an agent for others to access low-interest loans? Thank you Gary

My husband is in the US military and we are currently stationed in Japan. We own a house in FL. which we are currently renting out, it has an VA mortgage. We are going to have to move to VA, and would like to know if we would be able to get an FHA mortgage [...]
