guest fell and broke leg in the home i rent. who is responsible for her out of pocket expenses?

i just moved in the first of the month and had people over for the first time. one guest didn’t see the step down into the living room and fell and broke her leg. Would the owners’ home insurance cover the cost of her injury or at least for her out of pocket expenses such as doctor visits, emergency room care and etc. I do not have renters insurance.
