Please help me with 50′s clothing, shoe and hairstyle pics for boys……
Hello peeps!:smileyhappy: My 10 year old sons end of the year party is tomorrow. The theme is the fifties. I've been having trouble finding a good site for pictures of the way boys dressed and boys hairstyles back then. I already know I'm going to dress him in rolled up jeans and a white t-shirt. I'm wondering about shoes and how to style his hair. Please help me by posting pictures and/or links on here for me. I really appreciate it! Btw-I'll try to post pics of the party later. Pray for me, I lost my mind and volunteered to head the food committee..... 127 kids-OMG!~:smileytongue::smileysurprised: Just kidding (kinda)-I'm looking forward to it and so is Dylan, it should be a lot of fun.:smileyhappy:

My Mothers day dinner
I had a pretty quite day. Not much going on. Hubbie and son out side most of the day doing whatever it is little boys and daddys do outside!:smileyvery-happy: Dinner time rolls around, he says lets go out to eat. Good Idea since I didnt plan on cooking! Gee, says I, I feel like having steak,lets go to D****ys. We get to the resturant, oder our food, and wait. Dinner comes, I go to help my son cut his hamburger in half and much to my surprise,my steak knife wont cut the bun. THE BUN!!! I swear it was like a rock. Call the waitress, send it back. Ok. Now to my mouth watering steak. Yeah. My first clue was this gray sorta color it had. If gray had a taste that would be it. Green beans like little dried green sticks. Yummy!! So, I says to dear hubbie, hows yours?? With this bewidered look on his face he says, Its stuck to my skillet. (he had chicken) What do you mean stuck? After much prying and jabbing the chicken lets loose and the bottom is as black as any black I have ever seen.:smileytongue: So, we picked a few bites , son took one bite of new hamburger and refused to look at it(bun was now soft, but pattie looked like a piece of tar) drank our coffee(gulped) and headed for the chashier, who politely tells us they were having "issuses" (duh) with the cook. We wont be charged for sons hamburger. Well, I says(very politely)I will pay for my food because I did try to eat it (my mistake) but i sure as h*** wont be back! (as hubbie is draging me out the door) So ends my Mothers Day 2010. May it rest in peace. (cause its not at peace in my stomach):smileyvery-happy:

Finally it is agreed that they should meet at the Ocean View Restaurant because they can eat there in peace and quiet and have a beautiful view of the ocean. 10 years later, at age 70, the same ladies discuss where they should meet for dinner. Finally it is agreed that they should meet at the Ocean View Restaurant because it's wheelchair accessible and they even have an elevator! 10 years later, at age 80, the same ladies discuss where they should meet for dinner. Finally it is agreed that they should meet at the Ocean View Restaurant, because none of them have ever been there before.
