I had not much on my credit. just never had the money to pay it off. I have paid it off. Well all but like an old cell phone bill. From what I understand your credit is based off what your pay and what you own compared to your debt. Is this correct. If not, I was just wondering how long til it starts to go up and how fast does it go up. Is there a way to help it go up faster?

Ok so my house was on fire and the insurance was suppose to pay al the damages and now they have said they can’t pay everything they even refuse to pay my husbands medical bills because his hand was burned badly, I don’t know what I should do,any ideas?Thanx in advance!
